The West Riding flag for West Yorkshire

For West Yorkshire we stock the flag of the West Riding, the largest of Yorkshire’s three historic ridings: a white field with a red cross of St George, and at its centre a white rose set on a golden sunburst. The rose on a sun, the rose en soleil, was a badge of the House of York and of Edward IV, so the flag puts Yorkshire’s emblem on England’s cross.
