The Aberdeenshire flag: three towers in gold and purple
The Aberdeenshire flag is divided down the middle, gold at the hoist and purple in the fly, with three white towers set in a row across the join, the centre one standing taller than the pair beside it. Towers have been the heraldic mark of Aberdeen and the north-east for centuries, and the gold and purple give the flag a look nothing else on a Scottish flagpole shares.
