Five products, one Sunday
The Happy Mothers Day flag is the one to fly: 3ft x 2ft at £6.99 for a porch, a window or a short pole, 5ft x 3ft at £7.99 for a garden flagpole or the front of a restaurant, printed Flagtex polyester with a sewn header and eyelets. The Happy Mothersday Roses flag at £7.99 is the 5ft x 3ft alternative with a bunch of roses on it, for a florist's frontage or a house that wants something softer than lettering. Happy Mothers Day bunting comes in 3m at £9.98 and 9m at £15.99, enough for a bar, a cafe counter or the lounge at a care home where the families come in for the afternoon. The Happy Mothers Day hand flags at £5.99 are the 9x6in flags on a wooden stick for the children to wave when she walks in, and the Happy Mothers Day table flag, £2.99 to £5.99 with its base, sits on the lunch table or the reception desk.
When is Mother's Day?
In the UK, Mothering Sunday is the fourth Sunday of Lent, three weeks before Easter Sunday, so it moves each year and falls in March or occasionally early April; it is not the same date as the May Mother's Day in the United States and much of the rest of the world. Restaurants, garden centres and florists put the flag and bunting up on the Friday and leave them for the weekend; a care home or a church uses the flag for the Sunday service and lunch.
Ordering in time
Everything here is stocked in and dispatched from our Stoke-on-Trent warehouse, same day on orders before 2pm, with free 1 to 2 day UK delivery, so an order on the Wednesday is normally there for the Friday set-up. The matching Father's Day flag, the Happy Birthday range and the anniversary and Just Married flags are under celebration flags and other celebrations.
Mother's Day flag FAQs
What sizes does the Happy Mothers Day flag come in?
3ft x 2ft and 5ft x 3ft, both with eyelets; the Roses design is 5ft x 3ft only.
Is there matching bunting?
Yes, Happy Mothers Day rectangle bunting in 3m and 9m lengths on the same artwork as the flag.
Can the hand flag be used on a table?
Yes; the hand flag is the same 9x6in flag that sits in the wooden base to make the table flag, so you can buy either and swap between the two.
When should I order for Mothering Sunday?
By the Wednesday before, to be safe: orders before 2pm leave the same day and arrive in 1 to 2 days.
Is this the same date as Mother's Day abroad?
No. The UK date is tied to Lent and falls in March or early April; the United States, Australia and most of Europe celebrate in May.
Can I have a flag with a name on it?
Yes, a personalised flag is a job for the custom flag service, which prints a single flag from your artwork in the EU; allow a little longer than the stock items.
