The Sahrawi flag of Western Sahara has black, white and green horizontal bands of equal height, a red triangle against the pole and a red crescent and star on the white.
It was proclaimed in 1976 by the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic and uses the Pan-Arab colours of the Arab Revolt flag. The status of the territory remains the subject of an unresolved international dispute, and the flag is used by Sahrawi communities.
Collectors, students of North African history and Sahrawi community and cultural groups buy it.
