Western Sahara DuraFlag

Black, white and green horizontal bands, a red triangle along the pole edge and a red star and crescent on the white: the Sahrawi flag in DuraFlag knitted polyester.

First raised in 1976, the flag represents the Sahrawi people of the former Spanish Sahara. Its colours follow the flag of the 1916 Arab Revolt, and the crescent and star are emblems of Islam.
