Middlesex DuraFlag

On a red field, the Middlesex DuraFlag stacks three notched white seaxes with golden hilts, topped by a golden Saxon crown.

The seaxes were the arms of the Middle Saxons long before most of the county was absorbed into Greater London in 1965; the crown was added in 1910 to distinguish Middlesex from Essex, which shares the three blades. The historic county still keeps its own day each May.
