Yukon Flag

The Yukon flag is a vertical tricolour of green, white and blue, the white panel wider, with the territorial coat of arms above a wreath of fireweed on the white.

Adopted in 1968 after a design competition won by Lynn Lambert, its green stands for the forests, white for the snow and blue for the lakes and rivers, while the arms recall the Klondike gold rush.

It suits collectors of Canadian provincial and territorial flags and anyone with links to Whitehorse or Dawson City. Woven polyester keeps the Yukon Flag light enough to fly in a gentle breeze while holding bright colours. Sized at 5ft x 3ft, the Yukon Flag is the most common flag size in the UK and fits a typical 6m pole. To keep the Yukon Flag looking its best, take it down in very high winds and let it dry before folding.
