The Vietnam Old flag is a yellow field with three horizontal red stripes across the centre.
It was the flag of the State of Vietnam from 1949 and then of the Republic of Vietnam, the former South Vietnam, until 1975. The yellow recalls the traditional imperial colour and the three stripes the northern, central and southern regions of the country.
It is flown by Vietnamese communities overseas at heritage events and bought by collectors and historians of the period. Choose Flagtex for occasional flying or the DuraFlag grade if the Vietnam Old Flag will stay up all season.
