The Orange Free State DuraFlag The Orange Free State DuraFlag £14.99

The USSR DuraFlag shows a red field with a gold-edged red star above a crossed gold hammer and sickle, placed in the upper hoist corner.

Adopted in 1923 and used until the Soviet Union was dissolved in December 1991, the hammer and sickle stood for the alliance of workers and peasants and the star for the Communist Party.

It is bought by collectors, historians, film and theatre productions and Cold War museums. Choose the USSR DuraFlag where a flag will be up for a whole season; the knitted fabric copes with wind and rain far longer than a lightweight print.
