UK Royal Standard Flag

The Royal Standard is the royal arms in banner form, in four quarters: three gold lions passant on red for England in the first and fourth, a red lion rampant within a double border on gold for Scotland in the second, and a gold harp on blue for Ireland in the third.

This arrangement has been used since Queen Victoria came to the throne in 1837. The real standard flies only where the monarch is present, from royal residences, cars and ships; the version we sell is a decorative flag for supporters and collectors.

Buyers fly it for coronations, jubilees, royal birthdays and visits, and alongside the Union Flag at events celebrating the monarchy.
