The Navarre flag is a red field with the coat of arms of Navarre in the centre: gold chains linked in a cross and saltire around a green emerald, beneath a royal crown.

The chains are said to commemorate Sancho VII's victory at Las Navas de Tolosa in 1212, when he broke through the chains guarding the enemy camp. The flag became official in 1910.

It flies over Pamplona at San Fermín in July, at Osasuna matches and at Navarrese festivals. The Navarre Flag is printed on woven polyester, a lightweight cloth that flies easily and folds away for the next occasion. The Navarre Flag comes in the popular 5ft x 3ft size, right for most garden and club flagpoles as well as walls and windows.
