Civil Defence Service DuraFlag

This Civil Defence Service DuraFlag carries the Civil Defence Service design shown in the photos, printed edge to edge in strong, clear colours. The Civil Defence Corps was set up in 1949 and stood down in 1968, and its emblem is remembered by former volunteers and historians.

You will see the Civil Defence Service DuraFlag flown at reunions, history displays, collections and themed events. In DuraFlag form the Civil Defence Service design is printed on 150gsm knitted polyester with double-stitched hems, the grade we recommend for a pole that stays up all year.
