California Flag

On the California Flag you will find a white field with a grizzly bear walking on a green patch, a red star in the canton, a red stripe along the bottom and the words California Republic. A little history: the bear flag is based on the one raised at Sonoma in 1846 and was adopted as the state flag in 1911.

Customers buy the California Flag for Fourth of July parties, American themed nights, surf shacks and travel displays. The Flagtex grade of the California flag is printed woven polyester with brass eyelets on the hoist, ideal for a garden pole, a wall, a window or a one-off event. The California Flag is cut from our DuraFlag 150gsm knitted polyester, a heavier fabric that lets the wind pass through rather than tug at the seams, finished with double-stitched hems.
