Brittany Flag

Printed edge to edge, the Brittany Flag shows nine horizontal stripes, five black and four white, with a canton of ermine spots, known as the Gwenn-ha-du. Some background on the Brittany flag: Morvan Marchal designed the Gwenn-ha-du in 1923, the stripes representing the old dioceses of Brittany.
