Printed edge to edge, the Bedfordshire New Flag shows a quartered field, two gold quarters crossed by wavy blue and white bars for the Great Ouse and two red quarters each carrying three gold scallop shells. Some background on the Bedfordshire New flag: the shells come from the arms of the Russell family, Dukes of Bedford at Woburn, and the design was registered with the Flag Institute in 2014.
The Bedfordshire New Flag comes into its own at the Bedford River Festival, the Shuttleworth air shows at Old Warden, the Bedfordshire County Show and Luton Town match days. Choose Flagtex for a lighter, budget-friendly Bedfordshire New flag in printed woven polyester with brass eyelets, well suited to events and indoor display. In DuraFlag form the Bedfordshire New design is printed on 150gsm knitted polyester with double-stitched hems, the grade we recommend for a pole that stays up all year.
