Aquitaine Flag

The Aquitaine Flag shows a red field with a single gold lion passant guardant, often called the leopard of Aquitaine. The lion goes back to the medieval dukes of Aquitaine, whose lands passed to the English crown through Eleanor of Aquitaine.

You will see the Aquitaine Flag flown at French regional events, wine tastings, historical re-enactments and travel displays. For occasional use, the Flagtex version of the Aquitaine flag is printed woven polyester with brass eyelets, ready for a pole, a wall or a window. At 5ft x 3ft, the Aquitaine Flag is the right size for a standard garden or house pole.
