African Union Flag

Printed edge to edge, the African Union Flag shows a green field with a white sunburst holding a green map of Africa, ringed by a circle of gold stars. Some background on the African Union flag: the African Union replaced the Organisation of African Unity in 2002 and this design was adopted as its flag in 2010, the stars standing for the member states.

The African Union Flag comes into its own at Africa Day on 25 May, African cultural festivals, conferences and school projects. The Flagtex grade of the African Union flag is printed woven polyester with brass eyelets on the hoist, ideal for a garden pole, a wall, a window or a one-off event. The African Union Flag is cut from our DuraFlag 150gsm knitted polyester, a heavier fabric that lets the wind pass through rather than tug at the seams, finished with double-stitched hems.
