Scotland Lion DuraFlag

The Scotland Lion DuraFlag is the Royal Banner of Scotland: a red lion rampant inside a red double border decorated with fleurs-de-lis, on a gold field.

Used by Scottish kings since the thirteenth century, it is strictly the banner of the monarch, but its use as a sign of loyalty has long been tolerated, and it is the flag most Scots know as the Lion Rampant.

It flies at Scotland football and rugby internationals, at Highland games and Burns Night gatherings and from homes and pubs across the country. The Scotland Lion DuraFlag is built for long spells outdoors, with a stitched header and fabric that resists fraying at the fly.
