Berber DuraFlag

The Berber DuraFlag shows three horizontal bands of blue, green and yellow with the red letter Yaz from the Tifinagh alphabet across the centre. The flag was drawn up by the Berber Academy in the 1970s and was adopted by the World Amazigh Congress in 1997.

You will see the Berber DuraFlag flown at Amazigh new year (Yennayer), cultural festivals and community gatherings. The Berber DuraFlag is cut from our DuraFlag 150gsm knitted polyester, a heavier fabric that lets the wind pass through rather than tug at the seams, finished with double-stitched hems.
