Saint Lucia DuraFlag

St Lucia's flag is a cerulean blue field with a central device of a black triangle edged in white, overlapping a gold triangle at its base.

Designed by the artist Dunstan St Omer and first adopted in 1967, the triangles represent the island's twin Pitons. Blue stands for the sky and sea, gold for sunshine, and black and white for two cultures living together.

St Lucians fly it on Independence Day, 22 February, at Jounen Kwéyòl and Caribbean carnivals, and for West Indies cricket. Choose the Saint Lucia DuraFlag where a flag will be up for a whole season; the knitted fabric copes with wind and rain far longer than a lightweight print.
