Owain Glyndwr DuraFlag

Four lions rampant, counterchanged on a field quartered gold and red, make up the banner of Owain Glyndŵr, here in hard-wearing DuraFlag knitted polyester.

Glyndŵr was proclaimed Prince of Wales at Glyndyfrdwy on 16 September 1400 and held a parliament at Machynlleth in 1404. His banner drew on the arms of the House of Aberffraw, the royal line of Gwynedd.

Supporters raise it each September, at Welsh-language and cultural events and alongside the Red Dragon at sporting fixtures. The Owain Glyndwr DuraFlag is built for long spells outdoors, with a stitched header and fabric that resists fraying at the fly.
