Munster DuraFlag

The Munster flag carries three gold crowns on a blue field, set two above one.

The three crowns have represented the province since at least the fifteenth century and are often linked with the old kingdoms of Desmond, Thomond and Ormond. The same arms fill one quarter of the four provinces flag, beside the harp of Leinster, the eagle and arm of Connacht and the red hand of Ulster.

It is the flag of Munster rugby days at Thomond Park and of hurling and football supporters from Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Clare, Tipperary and Waterford. Knitted polyester lets the wind pass through the weave, so the Munster DuraFlag keeps its shape and colour on a pole that stays up for months.
