Masonic DuraFlag

The Masonic DuraFlag carries the square and compasses, the best-known emblem of Freemasonry.

The square and compasses, tools of the stonemason, stand for morality and self-restraint in Masonic teaching, and the emblem has been used by lodges since the eighteenth century, when the first Grand Lodge was founded in London in 1717.

Lodges fly it at installations, open days and charity events, and members display it at Masonic halls and at home. The Masonic DuraFlag is built for long spells outdoors, with a stitched header and fabric that resists fraying at the fly. The Masonic DuraFlag runs from 20x12in for small poles and indoor displays up to 5ft x 3ft for larger flagpoles and public buildings.
