Easter flags for the garden, the church and the egg hunt
There are three Happy Easter greetings flags. The Happy Easter Eggs flag at £7.99 is the colourful one with painted eggs for a garden pole or a farm-shop entrance; the Happy Easter New flag at £7.99 is the simpler lettered design; and the original Happy Easter flag at £10.79 is the third design, closest in style to the bunting and hand flag artwork. All three are 5ft x 3ft printed Flagtex polyester with a sewn header and eyelets, which hang from a telescopic pole, a fence post or a wall bracket. Around them sit the Happy Easter hand flags at £5.99 for the egg hunt and the Sunday-school parade, Happy Easter bunting at £9.98 for 3m or £15.99 for 9m, and the Happy Easter wooden table flag at £2.99 to £5.99 with its base for the Easter Sunday lunch table or a hotel breakfast room.
When Easter falls
Easter Sunday moves with the lunar calendar and lands anywhere from late March to late April, so the date varies each year; the flags go up for Holy Week and come down after Easter Monday, or stay up through the school holiday at a garden centre or a farm park. Churches use the greetings flag for the Easter Sunday service, village halls for the egg hunt and the Easter bonnet parade, and pubs for the four-day weekend.
Easter Rising flags
The second half of the page is the Irish commemoration of the 1916 Rising, marked each Easter in Ireland and by Irish communities in Britain. The Easter Proclamation flag reproduces the text of the Proclamation of the Republic and is stocked from 20x12in to 8ft x 5ft in Flagtex and 150gsm DuraFlag, from £6.99; the Easter Rising Irish Republic flag, the green flag with the words Irish Republic in gold that flew over the GPO, comes in the same range, with hand flags, bunting and a table flag. The Easter Rising Freedom flag and the 1916–2016 Lilies flag from the centenary are the other two designs, in 5ft x 3ft at £7.99. The whole Easter range is stocked in and dispatched from our Stoke-on-Trent warehouse, same day before 2pm.
